I attended the Madison County Commisssion meeting this morning and heard the minutes of the last county commission meeting approved.
They conveniently forgot to put in the minutes that fact that Tommy Reeves told the meeting last month that by-laws mean nothing and do not have to be adhered to.
As everyone can see by the video on this site that this did indeed happen. They tell us just what they want us to know and not the truth. We ought to demand that whoever writes these minutes be replaced with someone that can be honest or were they told to exclude this from the minutes? Seems like the corruption continues.

Oh and I forgot to mention the Chamber director had printed some posts from this forum and was passing it out to overyone.
Let's hope he prints them all out and pass them around to everyone.
That would be enlightenment for a lot of people.

What?? Please, enough with your riddles. What are you talking about?
Why don't you have a dual? You can meet in the square while the sheriff stands by and you two can duke or shoot it out. Sounds like quality entertainment to me.

Well Ted is a dynamic individual and Elmer cases a lot of trouble. I'm sure he does cause a lot of trouble, for the people who don't want to get caught! And what's all this crap about not personally attacking someone. That's what you're doing now! Sorry friend, but if Elmer leaves, there are plenty to pick up where he left off.

Yes but Ted is going to get somone to donate 40 acres of land at the interstate and build a county fairground and convention center and also build a welcome center in Madison. He plans to have rodeos at the fairground every weekend. This will really put heads in beds at the interstate.
He told the county commission this morning that he had 9 new events planned for Madison next year.

Is it getting a little hot in the kitchen, bigbearspal? Some crooked little toes getting stepped on down in that commissioners meeting? ooooh boy Mr. dynamic is actually doing something? I'd really rather Mr. dynamic got some of that hospital tax money released and get the new hospital started. I'd like to see some results from this tax money you have been collecting. Keep up your work Mr. Spear. We really do appreciate you for taking a stand against the biggest bunch of crooks around this area. By the way, is this legal? Harold Emrich presented a request from North Florida Community College to allow the school to use the city's name while applying for a grant to purchase a fire truck for training purposes. He explained that the college could not apply for the grant since it does not have a fire department.Asked if the college program would help local fire departments, Fire Chief Alfred Martin said it would. "Having the training right there would benefit us greatly," he said. The commissioners agreed to examine the request and make a decision at the next meeting.

He plans to have rodeos at the fairground every weekend. This will really put heads in beds at the interstate. First things first, if the county commissioners are too ignorant to read and/or post here, anyone wasting the paper and ink to print this out so they can read it is foolish. Second, building a 'welcome' or convention center in madison is the epitome of the tail wagging the dog. Who will be welcomed when most businesses are chased away by progress procrastinators or a county commission bent on fleecing any new people or potential businesses. Third, anyone donating land WITHOUT a healthy tax credit deal is either ignorant or too rich to care. This needs to be investigated. Fourth, I don't know Ted, and he may well be a nice guy who can make cool deals.... regardless, unless and until the REAL problems are addressed and corrected, deals like this will only further burden tax payers.
