What is the latest on the reinstatement of Coach Carroll as Head Football Coach or the search for a new head football coach at MCHS? I'm sure a powerhouse like Madison should receive plenty of interest from coaches around the state of Florida.

Read in the Tallahassee Democrat last week that Godby High School has over 70 people apply for their Head Football Coaching position...yet, the silence from Madison County District School Board, Boot Hill, and MCHS Athletic Department is DEAFENING!!! Could it be they are positioning themselves to give the head football coach position to Lame (Lane) Kiffin, Jr.

Maybe Brent Norris will come back again, and put us on the straight and narrow. ROR!

Question: A few people approached me with this inquiry: if Coach Frankie Carroll truly decide to walk away from MCHS, why haven't the name of Rob Williams, Defensive Coordinator, come up in the conversation as a possible replacement. He is well-known and well-respected by the players. a solid leader on-and-off the field with an excellent reputation, and an outstanding citizen in our community. Plus, his defense has been "rock solid" forever!

After reading the story of "What is going on in Madison" regarding Frankie Carroll in the Madison Enterprise, it is obvious, quite-a-few people are not pleased with the "Pinetta Connection" forcing Coach Carroll out of his job. Maybe, they will demand the resignations of those involved...hmmm now that is a beautiful thought.

That was no story. That was a letter to the editor. Unfortunately, they rarely show both sides of a story. I investigated both sides but choose not to write about it due to the embarrassment it would cause one party. You have to look at the whole picture. It's easy to make it look like Frankie is being forced out for the personal gain of some staff. Is that the truth or is it possible there's more to this story?
I talked to all participants. Behind closed doors, both sides tell a similar story. That story was not in the Carrier and never will be. Apparently, the truth and whole story will not be public until I post it on "The Voice'. It will happen.

Honestly, I hope the whole story never has to come out. Both sides know exactly what happened and didn't happen. Hopefully this conversation won't motivate the Carrier to do yet another one-sided, unsigned editorial.

Just read this online today: BREAKING NEWS: NEW FOOTBALL COACH HIRED AT SUWANNEE…Willie D. Spears Jr. has been hired as the new Suwannee High football coach, school officials confirmed today. Amazing, Suwannee ex-coach left them last month and they now have a replacement in place. Last week, North Florida Christian hired their new head coach. Their ex-coach left them about 2-3 weeks ago...yet, Madison County continues to operate without a named head coach (since late November 2009). There is no doubt something totally unethical is going on behind the scene and real Cowboys’ fans will not appreciate the outcome. Go to show you…know/endear yourself to the right people and relationship will trump qualifications everytime in our county school system. Can't wait to hear our school leaders (board members, high school principal, athletics director) justify this "power grab" scam. Then again, maybe not!!!

Agree. Based on information from insiders involved with MCHS athletics programs...the job has been Mike Coe since the summer of 2009.

To Greetings2009: I am waiting to hear from a certain trusted individual who will give me the latest on this situation. Presently, she is out-of-pocket but promised to bring me up to speed on this situation upon her return. Of course, I will relay the information through MFV.
