Arn't school bus drivers suppose to obey traffic laws as well as everyone else. They, most of them exceed the posted speed limits. Don't they know our children are on those buses. Something needs to be done, I'm going to start taking videos around Madison county and prove it,

dobbie, Yes bus drivers must obey the law just like the rest of us. In my opinion they should be extra careful because they are carrying me child also. If you see a school bus do something you think is unsafe write down the bus number (should be a two digit number on all four side of bus) the date and time and then contact Sgt. Charlie Dickey with the Madison County Sheriff's Office S.R.O. unit and give this information to him. He will be able to determine with that information who the driver was and deal with the issue. If it is a recurring issue then let him know when and where it happens and there can be a deputy monitor the location and if it happens in the deputies view then the appropriate action will be taken.
You can contact Sgt. Dickey at (850) 973-4001 ext#2
You can leave a message anytime or request a return call between 7am and 4pm.
Thanks, M.D.
