Does anyone know why Pinetta is listed as being incorporated on WikiPedia? Because Wiki is "the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit." Someone got it wrong. Feel free to edit.

It's funny it was one specific edit by a person to make pinetta, inc.
I ask in case anyone knows anything about a rumor or something.
I know it gets it wrong.
Does anyone know how Pinetta got it's name?

Does anyone know how Pinetta got it's name? I don't know the story, but I believe the pine in Pinetta was referring to the Long Leaf and other pines in the area. Not sure if it meant the native pines or the cash crop timbers, though.

This has been bugging me. Elmer, can you shed some light on this. I ask because if a Town or city in unincorporated and has a Post Office, it is usually on the sign as you come into town.
