Our favorite thing to do at Christmas time is to adopt a Madison County domestic violence family. In case anyone is interested this is how it works. The Domestic Violence counselor assigns a number to the family and you are given the information about this family and their needs. Their names are confidential. You give the items to the domestic violence counselor and she delivers them to the family.
Last year every domestic violence family in Madison County was adopted so every child that was a victim of domestic violence received a Christmas gift.
If anyone would like information on this let me know on this forum and I will get the information to you.

I should have also added if you are a victim of domestic violence there is help available in Madison and I can provide you with that information also. Their motto is "Hands are for holding and not hitting".
